Even after 13 years of burial, the body is still intact
Sheikh Abdul Hamid Kishk (Abdal-Hamid Kishk) was the greatest orator of the Islamic world in the seventies and eighties.
He is the only blind scholar in the world, who wrote 108 books and all these books were widely accepted. Among them is a 10-volume commentary on the Qur'an. The name of which is "Fei Rehab al-Tafseer".
Sheikh Kashak was born on March 10, 1933 in Shabrakhit, Egypt
And in 1996, he died in prostration on Friday.
In the Arab world, he is remembered by the titles of "Pers al-Manabar" i.e. "Knight of the pulpit" and "Mahami al-Harkat al-Islamiya" i.e. the lawyer of the Islamic movement.
He gave 2,000 historical sermons during 40 years, but he did not make a single mistake in Arabic even in one sermon. There are recordings of all these sermons.
Sheikh Kushak was blessed by nature with various abilities. That's why he was also called "Alam Lahut" in Egypt.
He memorized the Holy Quran at the age of 10. Then he entered Al-Muhad al-Dini in Alexandria. Later completed studies from Azhar University. He kept getting first position in every exam. It is known about him that if some of the teachers of Jamia Azhar faced any problem during the lesson, Sheikh used to solve it in moments with Kushk.
The strange thing is that Sheikh Kushik started taking the pulpit when he was only twelve years old. Once he went to the village mosque to read Friday, but by chance the preacher did not come that day, Sheikh Kushik gave the first sermon of his life and surprised the audience. This sermon is called a historical sermon.
But after that, a series of accusations started on him. At the age of thirteen, he lost his sight in one eye and the next year the other eye also left him.
Commenting on this, Shaykh Kushik repeated the saying of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him: "If God took away the light of my eyes, what would happen? There is a light of insight in my heart."
After graduating from Jamia Azhar, he was a preacher in several major mosques in Cairo. Many mothers have given birth to brave children like Sheikh Kushak. You were an example of righteousness. Then there was no second for him in asceticism. Berser Minbar used to tell Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser to be good. For which he was sentenced to prison several times. Where they were subjected to unspeakable torture. Even starving dogs were left on them. But he stopped telling the truth.
From 1965 to 1982, he remained in jail for most of the time. On the Camp David Agreement in 1978, he called Egyptian President Anwar Sadat a traitor to the people and the Muslim Ummah. Sheikh Kashk was the imam and preacher of Ain al-Hayat Mosque in Cairo. This mosque is one of the most important mosques in Cairo. He held this position throughout his life. But throughout the reign of Egyptian dictator Hosni Mubarak, he remained under restrictions and was placed under house arrest.
During this whole period he gave only one sermon, which shook the whole of Egypt. This was his historic sermon at the burial of Muslim Brotherhood leader Umar al-Talmsani in 1986.
The incident of Sheikh Kushak's death is very strange. He often prayed that Mola! Call me to you in prostration. This prayer was accepted. It was December 6, 1996 and Friday.
Before Friday, he said to his wife, "In my dream, I had the privilege of visiting the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Syedna Umar Farooq Azam was also with him. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "Greet Umar." As soon as I saluted, my soul became constipated and I fell down dead in front of the Holy Prophet. You gave me bath with your blessed hand.
When he narrated this strange dream to the family, the wife said that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that when someone sees an unwanted dream, he should not tell it to anyone. Hearing this, Sheikh scolded him and said that this is an unwanted dream? By Allah! I really want that to happen. After that they started preparing for Friday. Before going to the mosque, he stood up to read two rakats. He completed the first rak'at and performed one prostration in the second rak'at and did not raise his head from the second rak'at. When the family went and saw, the spirit had flown away.
That is why it is said in Egypt that "Aash farsa wa mat sajda" means he lived a knightly life and died in prostration. It was Friday, 26 Rajab al-Murjib 1417 AH (6 December 1996). Interestingly, Sheikh was also born on Friday and he also lived to the same age as the blessed age of the Holy Prophet, i.e. 63 years.
Sheikh Sahib used to pray for death on Fridays and in the state of prostration throughout his life. Sheikh Nishat Ahmad says that when two months were left for his death, he used to pray this dua frequently. When the time came, they were sure of their departure. One day he called all the children and explained to them what to do after my death. Then he took the younger son Abd al-Munaim and sat down and dictated the entire will to him.
Then when a week was left, he called the elder son Abdul Salam and read the will to him and handed over all the trusts to him. In the last days, he was very worried about the Muslim Ummah.
One day he said with great regret: "Wail for the nation from this evil and what will happen to the nation in the coming evil and calamity." These words were often repeated.
On the night of his death, he called Abdul Salam again and made his will for the last time and asked him how old was the Holy Prophet. The son said: 63 years, so the Sheikh said that tonight I also completed this age.
Another strange thing is that the last hadith he taught to his students a day before his death was this: "Inna Allah does not withhold knowledge from the scholars, but He does not take knowledge by the knowledge of the scholars." He does not raise it from the chests of the people, but he raises it after the death of the scholars."
Sheikh Nishat says that on the last day he reached the mosque much earlier than usual. After reading Fajr in congregation, they sat on the prayer for a long time and recited zikr, until it was time for Ishraq and then Chasht, after praying Chasht, they went home. Because breakfast was not done. That's why the wife set the table as soon as she reached home. Shaykh said sit down, let me tell you a dream. Then he told the same dream about visiting Holy Prophet.
13 years after the death of Sheikh Kushik, his son Abdul Salam died.
He was also being buried by the Sheikh's side. During the excavation of the grave, the grave of Sheikh Kushak was opened. His disciple and famous religious scholar of Egypt, Sheikh Nishat Ahmed, descended into the grave.
They say that the Sheikh's grave was full of fragrance and his body was perfectly healthy and fresh, as if it had just been buried, even the shroud was not damaged.
