Books of different types of writings have been discovered near. These archaeological treasures of hill carvings and inscriptions are located around the river Indus.
According to Dr. Jason, these impressions provide information about ancient civilizations from 1,000 years to 25,000 years. Through these mountain carvings and writings, it is possible to see and understand the beliefs and culture of the ancient people living in these areas. Besides, here about the foreign tourists coming from other parts of the worldI also know.
A rock called Ghrii Dan in Balchhe Tir Nazbar Yasin, located at the foot of the Hindu Kush, one hundred and fifty kilometers away from Gilgit city, is still hidden from the eyes of archaeologists. Eleven hundred square feet of this rock is engraved with thousands of writings and impressions. The rocks depict animals, humans and some signs, mostly of mahouts, mountain goats and other animals, while there are various other signs and buildings besides hunters and horsemen. The hill paintings with images of hunters, various tools, symbols and mountain goats seem to be post-Buddhist images, with changing beliefs and civilizations.
Yawuz is a five-hour trek from Nazbar to Balchhe Tir. Since Balchhe Tir is a summer pasture, people come here only in summer with cattle. It is not possible to come here in winter due to heavy snowfall. People have excavated ancient human graves near this rock in the canal. From the remains of these graves and the engravings on the eleven hundred square feet rock, it seems that people were living here in ancient times.
Human civilization and archeology experts are requested to research the ancient human graves in this canal and the engravings on the rock called Gharee
i Dan.
