The reason for the obstinacy of the Jews
There were three tribes of Jews living in Medina.
After the migration to Madinah, an agreement was made between all of them for the common defense of the city-state, which stipulated that none of the parties should cooperate with the Quraysh of Makkah. Banu Qainqa'a and then Banu Nazir were expelled from the city for violating the conditions. Jews were scholars and possessors of inspired books. The Prophet used to recognize the end of the world as his own sons. He knew that no one could defeat the Prophet. He also knew that Islam has to prevail and become the only dominant religion in the whole world. The wise path for them was to join the vanguard of this religion and become a part of the conquering nation, but they did not take this path, the reason given by the Qur'an was their jealousy and hatred against Banu Isma'il. The spirit of rebellion prevented them from accepting Islam. Then after the Battle of Uhud, Hayy bin Akhtab mobilized all the Arabs against the Muslims by funding the next war. After returning from Ahzab Bayneel Maram, Hayy bin Akhtab remained among Banu Qurayzah and when the siege was prolonged and Banu Qurayzah surrendered, at that time their leader Ka'b bin Asad said:
Read the word, everyone's life will be saved, but the nation refused to believe. The question arises that
The Jews believed in the truthfulness of the prophet of the last days
It was also known that you had to overcome
It was also known that rebellion was punishable by death
Otherwise
There is no escape from deportation
It was also known that the word, whether from the heart or the tongue, was the surest way to salvation
Then what was the reason that the Jews did not take any safe route
The Qur'an has answered this by saying:
Qalwa, lin tamsna al-nar al-ayama maadudat
Even if we are punished, it will be a few days. And that's it
Compare this belief of Jews with the belief of intercession prevalent among Muslims
Holy Quran has promised the punishment of hell for many crimes
Eating the wealth of an orphan
To eat someone's property unjustly
To kill someone unjustly
To slander someone
Committing a misdemeanor
To lie
to betray
etc
But the popular belief of intercession among Muslims has made us fearless just like it did to the Jews and we also understand that even if we face the fire of Hell, it will be for a few days and then the pleasures of Paradise, then the pain of a few days. Why should one leave the pleasures of the world out of fear of
Isn't the belief of intercession contrary to the Qur'an the reason for encouraging crimes among Muslims?
