As for the evolution of belief, when I searched it in the Holy Quran, I found the following information about the evolution of belief in the Holy Quran, which I thought was appropriate to share with Muslim science students. 



Allah revealed this intention to the angels before creating man. 

Sarat No. 2 Verses nine. 30

And when your Lord said to the angels: I am about to create a caliph on earth, they said: Will you create such a creature on earth who will cause mischief in it, and cause bloodshed, even though we glorify you and praise you? Engaged in sanctification? Allah said: I know things that you do not know. 


After creating Adam (peace be upon him), Allah placed him in Paradise for some time

Sarat No. 2 Verses nine. 35

And we said: Adam! You and your wife live in Paradise, and eat from it wherever you want to your heart's content, but do not even go near this tree, otherwise you will be counted among the wrongdoers. 


And then because of Adam's mistake, Allah took him out of heaven and sent him to earth. 

Sarat No. 2 Verses nine. 36

Finally, Shaytan removed them from following our order by making them invisible under this tree and left them out of the condition in which they were. We ordered that you should all get down from here, you are enemies of each other and you have to stay in the earth for a certain time and live there. 


And as far as monkeys are concerned, monkeys were not transformed into human beings, but the Jews were transformed by Allah into monkeys and pigs because of their deeds. Allah said:

Sarat No. 5 verses nine. 60

. (O Prophet! To them) say: Shall I tell you who is worse than (what you are considering as bad)? These are the people on whom Allah has cast fire, on whom He has sent down His wrath, among whom He has turned people into monkeys and pigs, and who have worshiped Satan! They are the people whose abode is the worst and they have strayed far from the straight path. 


In another place Allah said:

Sarat No. 2 Verses nine. 65

And surely you know of those among you who transgressed about the Sabbath, and We also said that you should become disgraced monkeys. 


In another place Allah said:

Sarat No. 7 verses nine. 166

So it happened that when they rebelled against the work they were prevented from doing, We said to them: Go, become a disgraced monkey. 


If these Qur'anic verses are taken into consideration, it is known that monkeys were not transformed into humans, but some Jews were transformed into monkeys and pigs because of their deeds.

Both science and Islam agree on the belief that there was no life on earth when the earth was created. But science still does not know where life on earth came from. Sometimes it claims that maybe life came from Mars, sometimes it claims that maybe life came from a meteorite. While Islam claims that man has been brought down from heaven to earth. 

Science is still wandering along the way and how long it will continue to wander, I don't know.
