Did Maulana Mufti Mehmood (may Allah have mercy on him) really say that "Thank God that we were not involved in the sin of creating Pakistan"?
This sentence was actually attributed by Munir Ahmed Munir to Mufti Mahmood. Let us know its truth. Incidentally, the representative of the weekly Afrisia Lahore (probably in 1976) interviewed Maulana Mufti Mahmood. The last question was:
"This tradition has been made known about you that you have said on some occasion: "Thank God that we were not involved in the sin of creating Pakistan." To what extent is this true?"
Mufti Mahmood Sahib, may Allah have mercy on him, answered and said: What these people are not ashamed to say, I am ashamed to listen to. had been. Chaudhry Zahoor Elahi (deceased father of Chaudhry Shujaat) was also there, it was purely a joke, the friends of Muslim League themselves were saying that Muslim League was our mother but this mother became wicked and her sins knew no bounds. At this I (Mufti Mahmud) said laughingly:
Thank God that we were not involved in this sin. I said anyway I am silent, you are the one commenting and comment more I will still remain silent. Everyone laughed at this. (Weekly Afrisia Lahore with reference to Spokesman of Islam Lahore Mufti Mahmood number... page number 454, 455)
See, a Muslim League called its own party (the Muslim League, which claims to be the creator party of Pakistan) as a wicked mother, and also that its sins have no limit, no one objected to this sentence, but when Mufti Sahib Expressed the fact that we were not partakers of this sin, so this is bad for themLagi. That is, if someone abuses his mother, it is not a crime, but if the other person shows his innocence by saying that he has nothing to do with the evildoer, then he becomes guilty?
The role of Muslim League was being talked about, Pakistan was not mentioned at all, but ill-mindedness linked it with Pakistan for its nefarious purpose. Curse of Allah on the liars.
