Do you know that many people read and write sad poems in December and sometimes they stay cursing in December evenings and sometimes long nights, what could be the reason for this? Feelings like depression, anxiety, burden or hopelessness etc. are often felt in December evenings or long nights. why do
Why does this happen? So let me tell you that there may be some scientific reasons behind it. One of the reasons is that the days in December are shorter than the nights, due to which people get less sunlight and therefore vitamin D cannot be converted into its active form in the human body. And there are some hormones connected to this vitamin D, due to the disturbance in its production, peopleExperiencing feelings like depression and sadness. In scientific language, it is called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), December Depression, Holiday Blues, Vocational Blues.
In some people, during the winter, the production of melatonin increases due to less sunlight and disrupts the sleep routine, making us feel more tired and less exposed to sunlight. Can lead to lowering of serotonin levels, which affects mood andSymptoms such as depression and irritability develop.
Winter weather often limits outdoor activities. People reduce social interactions (meeting friends, relatives, walking etc.) and exercise due to extreme cold. This social isolation and lack of physical activity leads to feelings of loneliness and exacerbates depressive symptoms.
So in winter, provide sunlight to certain parts of the body for a certain period of time, do physical work and keep yourself as little alone as possible.
Note: The four names I have used above although these terms may be similar to each other in some aspects, they usually denote different aspects of the emotional base during certain times or situations. Such as
=>Holiday Blues: Holiday Blues.
=>Vocational blues: sadness or unhappiness related to work.
=> Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Depression associated with seasonal changes, especially in winter.
=>December Depression: Feeling sad in December is depression, usually associated with the holidays.
