*Sleep Improvement Gadget Ready For Sale*
Scientists have invented a device that can improve the quality of sleep by turning brain waves into a symphony.
Researchers claim that using this gadget before sleep can significantly improve sleep quality.
This device named My Waves was invented by renowned neuroscientist Dr. Alain Destaxe after he accidentally encountered a strange phenomenon.
Studies show that listening to the sound of your own brain activity can improve rapid eye movement (REM) periods. REM sleep is the stage in which the eyes move in different directions. It is an important part of the sleep cycle because it is during this time that our memory is activated, the brain develops and we dream.
To take advantage of this gadget, users first need to spend the night with the device attached to their forehead.
During this period, the device records the brain during deep sleep and creates three music tracks to mimic the waves that exist at that time.
According to Dr Destaxe, the research found the brain to be like an 'orchestra playing a thousand instruments', resulting in Blade Runner-style music.
The company showcased the gadget at the Consumer Electronics Show 2024 to be held in Las Vegas from January 10-12.
The company is set to launch the device formally next month and the product will be priced around £400.
