The city of Istanbul in Turkey is the city that has been the capital of the three great empires of the world, this city has been the capital of the Roman Empire,
the Byzantine Empire and then the Ottoman Empire. We meet where two civilizations meet and Jalil-ul-Qadr Sahabi Hazrat AbuThe shrine of Ayub Ansari is also here, Hazrat Ayub Ansari was the lucky companion who had the honor of hosting the Holy Prophet in Madinah.
Conquest of Constantinople
Regarding the conquest of Constantinople, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
‼️You will definitely conquer Constantinople, how great will that conqueror be and how great will be that army too‼️
After hearing this blessed hadith, Hazrat Abu Ayyub Ansari became eager to be a part of this fortunate army. You joined Lashkar-e-Islam only a few days before the enemyThat Hazrat Abu Ayyub fell ill. The disease intensified and it was felt that the last time had come. He bequeathed to advance into the enemy's territory to reach the last limit and bury me near the wall of Constantinople. His will was carried out and he was buried in the shadow of the wall of Constantinople. Hazrat Abu Ayub Ansari's life was spent from the beginning to the end in the love of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and it ended by trying to fulfill the decree of the Prophet (PBUH), even after that many Muslim rulers tried to fulfill the good news of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). After seven hundred years of efforts, this great blessing came to Sultan Muhammad Fatih. Twenty-oneSultan Muhammad Fatih was the son of the great Turkish ruler Sultan Murad Sani. He was full of love for the Holy Prophet, determined to fulfill the good news of the Prophet, equipped his army with the latest technology, called his Byzantine enemies, an expert weapon maker named Urban, who belonged to Hungary. and commissioned to make the best cannons and ammunition for a handsome fee,Prepared three hundred warships for the attack and took seventy thousand troops to conquer Constantinople, an impregnable city in the world at that time. On the other hand, all European rulers sent their armies and ships to Constantinople to save Constantinople. Sultan Muhammad Fateh besieged the city for forty days. They tried everything possible to break the wall of the city but failed, they also tried to reach inside the wall by digging a tunnel but this strategy also did not work. Attempts were made to enter ships into the Golden Horn by sea, but Caesar Constantine had tied a heavy iron chain at the mouth of the port on the seaward side of the Golden Horn in such a way that no ship could enter. The sultan's ministers advised him that it was not possible to conquer Constantinople, so it was better to go back, but Sultan Muhammad the Conqueror wanted to fulfill the message of the Holy Prophet at any cost, so he followed an incredible plan. Decided that this forest was a vast and dense forest along the Bosphorus mountainsThousands of trees were cut down and hundreds of animals were slaughtered and their fat was applied to the trunks and planks of these trees to be well lubricated. With the help of these courses, he dragged them up the mountain at night to the other side of the city of Constantinoplewas thrown into the sea. When the townspeople woke up in the morning, they were surprised and dismayed to see the ships of the Turks in front of them. On the evening of May 29, 1453, Sultan Muhammad the Conqueror entered the Byzantine capital of Istanbul as a conqueror. Edward Gibbon, the renowned historian, described this victory as a miracle.
Islam in Europe
The conquest of Istanbul is considered a historic achievement in Muslim history. This success paved the way for the entry of Islam into Europe and it was the determination of a twenty-one-year-old Muslim youth that ended the Byzantine Empire and today the atmosphere of Istanbul is resounding with the call to prayer. Sultan Muhammad Fatih is known today as a hero of the Turkish nation. The Sultan was a very broad-minded ruler, after the victory, all Christian citizens in the city were given peace, and when the persecution of Jews began in Europe and they were forced to flee, the victorious Sultan sent these Jews to Turkey. Sheltered.
