The science of discipline.
Discipline is the path that leads to the achievement of goals and the realization of dreams. It is important to understand the science of how we can adopt discipline. How can we stay disciplined? Let's talk about all of this.
1- Set your clear goals!
The first element or step to an organized life is to set clear goals. It becomes very difficult for us to stay focused and motivated until our direction is clear and correct. For this it is important to clarify your long-term and short-term goals. Break even big goals into smaller parts to make them easier to achieve. Just like you don't eat a loaf of bread in one go but eat it in small bites or nibbles, break down big goals and you'll be easier and more purposeful and focused.
2- Set your routine!
Setting a routine leads to discipline. Routine gives us a strong foundation and we set out to achieve our dreams in an organized way. Unless you set a time for each task and follow your schedule consistently in every case, the question of discipline does not arise.
3-Always try to learn which task to do when. That is, do what is necessary first. Avoid multitasking. Set a deadline for each task. Try to do each task in its own time with full focus. Multitasking is like multitasking. Use calendars, planners, and productivity apps to manage your time and progress.
4- Take control of your ego!
Self-control is the key to discipline. Self-awareness, mindfulness leads us to self-control. Pay attention to your thoughts, feelings. Learn to manage them. Keep yourself busy with good activities like regular exercise and learning skills.
5- Learn to reduce distractions!
Distraction is a huge problem in today's modern digital age. Due to social media, maintaining focus and discipline has become a challenge. Sit back and relax and take a pen and paper and note down all the things that are taking away your focus. Do this every night so that you can counter them on a daily basis. Try turning off unnecessary phone notifications. Switch off the phone while working. Unless you work with full focus you will not get results. Scrolling through social media, replying to messages while working will take you away from discipline.
6- Self accountability.
Always learn to put yourself in the dock of your conscience. If we want to move forward in life, we have to have this courage. You can also create a group of like minded people in which you can share challenges, progress. Where you can celebrate small successes together. Keep reviewing yourself weekly, monthly and annually.
7- Time management
Time management plays a key role in discipline. Manage yourself, habits over time. Unless you manage yourself, you will not be able to manage time.
8- Self care.
Pay attention to your mental and physical health. Unless you are mentally and physically fit you cannot lead a structured life. Good sleep, exercise, balance diet keep us physically and mentally fit. Deep breathing exercises and meditation keep us away from stress and anxiety.
