For the past two days, you have been reading and hearing about a specific problem with computers using the Windows OS. The issue caused many service outages around the world, which have not yet been fully resolved. The problem was first reported in Australia, and then news began to be received from around the world. 


More than 5,000 flights were canceled worldwide, trains were delayed, hospital services were affected, banks and business companies were disrupted, and almost every aspect of life where Microsoft's operating system and there was a service error with a specific software installed was born.

What happened to the problem? 

A cyber security company is called CrowdStrike, and its software is called Falcon Sensor, which is used by large enterprises in the world to secure their company's computer (end point), including airline companies, banks. , hospitals, and transport companies. Due to a bug in the security update of this software, the blue screen problem started on the computers wherever it was installed. This is called the Blue Screen of Death, in which the computer goes into a Restart Loop, i.e., it keeps restarting again and again. 

"This isn't a digital assault of any sort."

The crowd-strike company's stick market share also fell to 18 percent. 

Note that this issue is not caused by Microsoft but by an update to the software that was installed on Windows, although the software is also available for Mac OS and Linux. 


What will be the solution? 

This software company has released its update, but even after this update, most of the computers are not recovering. The solution is a manual update, that is, the system administrator of any company will have the responsibility to manually update this update in the company network. Because rolling back this update also fixes the problem on most computers,  From this, you can imagine the importance of IT in this modern world.
